             abstract = "Climate variables are important in conditioning the biophysical 
                         and biogeochemical processes in the environment enabling greater 
                         efficiency in the water cycle and consequently on soil nutrients 
                         that helps regulate the microclimate. Because of the above, the 
                         aim of this study was to analyze the climatic conditions between 
                         the years 1984 to 2013 related to the agricultural occupation of 
                         Southwest Goiano.Thirty historical series were selected including 
                         the period of 1984 to 2013 from weather stations in Instituto 
                         Nacional de Meteorologia- INMET in the cities of Itumbiara, 
                         Jata{\'{\i}}, Rio Verde, and Aragarcas in the state of 
                         Goi{\'a}s; it was also included the Rondon{\'o}polis station in 
                         the state of Mato Grosso and Parna{\'{\i}}ba station in the 
                         state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The climatic conditions of rainfall, 
                         average of temperature and humidity were spatialized by 
                         geostatistics, using the technique of interpolation Inverse 
                         Distance Weighted (IDW). Regarding the wet system in the time 
                         period, the measured maximum precipitation was 184.63 mm; however, 
                         this same region has been found lower temperatures, with values 
                         around to 22 ° C. The higher relative humidity was measured in the 
                         northwestern portion of the region. The spatialization 
                         distribution of climate variables permited to recognize that the 
                         part of the study area has conditioning environmental 
                         characteristics for the implementation of agricultural crops, 
                         because of the highest amounts of rainfall, lower temperature and 
                         higher humidity values.",
